 Friday, May 8, 2009  Mini Getaway @ 5/08/2009 09:55:00 PM    Was on board the Royal Star Casion cruise for a mini getaway with my family yesterday. The whole thing was not as bad as i had prepared myself for. Quite fun and entertaining. It was quite an eye opener for me. For i'm a real casino noob.   Okay okay, I know the above pose looks STUPID. It's like such an Orh-piang pose lah~ I'm like grasping tightly to the lampost for fear that i might get blown away (which i know is kinda unlikely). You can roughly know how big the wind is from the degrees of messy-ness of my hair.  Dad taught me most of the casino games while there (ehs, i dunno if this may sounds weird to you ppl, father teaching daughter gambling? lolx). First game, JACKPOT. I didnt know pressing buttons and seeing the pictures spin could be quite so fun. =) And alot of it depends on LUCK. Tips learned: Choose the jackpot machine abandoned by ppl after a few trials of no/low win. Coz they've spinned the lousy spins and when it's ur turn, u're left with GOOD spins =p Next, BIG or SMALL? The very Classic game of rolling 3 dice and betting on big or small. But there's alot of other things u could bet also. Such as betting on what exactly will be the digits of the 3 dice. This can be quite fun. Once again kinda based on pure luck as well. 3rd up, BLACKJACK. This is quite different from the normal blackjack we used to play during CNY. Coz' in the casino there's 8 decks of cards shuffled all tgt. And, banker has to take an extra card if his cards are less than 17. AND the most incredible thing is, U could WIN even if u got 12 points and u dun wanna get one more extra card! AMAZING. But then, the odds of winning is still higher for the banker. And next, is a known to be very easy game, (but i dun really grasp the methodology of the game play =x hahs)BACARAT. Well, nth much abt this game, u could just get 3 outcome, Banker win, Player win, or tie. To me, it's jus randomly betting on ur 6th sense.    And let's end the post with my beautiful piano playing =)
